What makes this reference special is the fact that we have fitted 1,600 existing NEC Dect devices with alarms while waiting for these to be replaced with Wi-Fi devices.

25-8 fitted redundant LynX® Connect with over 300 Spectralink PIVOT devices for operation with all alarms, coming from all systems such as nurse call, RTLS, GBS, medical apparatus, access control, etc. 25-8 University allows the customer to program and create its own alarms. The hospital will open in 2019 and aims to visualise messages and alarms thanks to a connection with CISCO permanent and mobile devices.

Here we made a design for a Wi-Fi file, to be implemented with Cisco Wireless APs. We provided a complete analysis and design schedule, a file with 3,000 photos concerning installation of APs, complete with installation instructions.

Fitting of redundant LynX® Connect with over 20 Samsung XCOVER4 devices for operation with all alarms, coming from all systems such as nurse call Ascom, RTLS, GBS, medical apparatus, access control, etc. In this case LynX® also operates as the telephone platform. The Wi-Fi network was installed by us in a single channel architecture complete with backbone and firewall security.

This project near the E40 and supervised by VK Engineering made use of a Wi-Fi single channel and backbone ICT, plus smartphones and LynX® Connect alarm (collecting all alerts) and telephony.

One of our early customers in a full LynX® Connect concept, combined with Mitel. Initially Nokia C5-03 devices were used on a Zyxel network. In order to expand the range of options, an extension to the service flats was used as an opportunity to install the entire network on a single channel and to provide LynX® Home in the service flats.

Assisting those with a disability in the city centre of Bruges requires specific organisation of care provision. Here LynX® Home provides alarms and communication at 3 levels with individual remuneration (related to person-based funding), divided into alerts (code green), urgent alerts (code orange) and emergency alarm (code red). Voice connection and reassurance using colour feedback are co-engineered in a proof of concept with this most visionary customer.

The locations of projects include Geluwe, Ronse, Zottegem and Bree. Initially the customer opted for a single channel Wi-Fi network and ICT backbone, plus LynX® Connect as an alarm and voice platform. Depending on the project the nurse call system was supplied by either Essec or Televic. The customer recently chose LynX® Home as the full solution for its residents.

This customer is also a member of our Captains of Industry club (building director Francis Fraeyman), in which new developments are assessed based on the user experience and the vision of an innovative care organisation.

For Mintus, LynX® Connect mainly means organising wireless calls and receiving alarms over the Wi-Fi. We fitted 2 homes on the basis of smartphones, while 5 others used Aruba or other technology. The customer reached the conclusion that there was such a difference in the quality that the new standard will move towards Fortinet single channel and our services. New projects are therefore to be implemented on this basis. Mintus is also a competence centre for innovation and we are working together with them to realise a LynX® Home innovation to help those living at home but needing care in the Bruges region.

Right from day one LynX® Connect was the solution in this pioneering setting in OCMW Middelkerke. Smartphones had been struggling to operate effectively on the Ruckus Wi-Fi network for over a year, until we converted this to single channel Fortinet. Ever since this has been an excellent reference for people migrating from a Wi-Fi network multichannel to Wi-Fi single channel.

The keywords here are ambition and vision. Assisting people with a disability is their core business. Besides traditional LynX® Connect and ICT applications these people use LynX® Home in a rental model. Besides assisted living we have also provided the equipment in the particularly successful “Nieuwe Ceder” care hotel.

 This luxurious project offers the ultimate in what a care centre can offer, as one of the most beautiful homes in which we have been allowed to participate. Telephony and calling over Wi-Fi was our assignment in this case, while alarm server and nurse call was added by Carefull. The customer appointed all parties itself, after which we created an ecosystem in order to reach a solution.

This dynamic group, managed by Mrs Katrien Valcke, includes various care centres. This incorporates a range of new buildings as well as existing homes. One of the jewels in the crown is WZC Gerstjens, where we were asked to install Wi-Fi, ICT and LynX® Connect. Meanwhile, other homes keep their finger on the wrist when it comes to LynX® Home, and we are close to completing the first full implementation of nurse calls to communication platforms.

A totalitarian organisation providing not only hospital and residential care, but also assisted living. There is no matching the dynamic nature and vision of this customer. In their recent project, at WZC Samaritaan, the customer opted for the full solution LynX® Connect, LynX® Home and ICT + Wi-Fi, whereby a delegation of specialists from the customer joined in with brainstorming on the development of a remote unit LynX® as a nurse call in the room.

Various institutions within this setting haven chosen our solution LynX® Connect and Mitel telephony. Multiple sites and extremely large areas tend to be challenging. Aggression calls are among the most important criteria. This customer stands out from other hospitals with its selection of the more traditional DECT system, where we worked with Ascom to provide an appropriate solution. The Dokter Guislain site is the first operational institution to run on our systems.

This former Nextel reference chose LynX® Connect and the powerful Mitel platform to be able to develop the communication virtually on its 3 sites as 1. An IP DECT system from Ascom with an aggression alarm was chosen to suit cables and requirements.

The “Nieuwe Wandeling” chose LynX® Connect and the powerful Mitel platform to provide their prison guards with reliable communication. They opted for an IP DECT system from Ascom with an aggression alarm.

This organisation, related to the hospital AZ St.-Lucas, is one of the largest care providers in East Flanders. Director Danny Sagaert is an advisor in our Captains of Industry club. Meanwhile we have implemented all the systems we offer in a number of different locations (Aalter, Zelzate, Ghent, etc).

LynX® Connect provides this customer with a solution to its alarms and communication. Certain sites need to work a while longer with their Philips (NEC) solution which we have connected. Meanwhile, Westervier has the full solution on board based on Wi-Fi single channel, and nursing staff are equipped with smartphones. The Heestert site uses Cisco end to end, as smartphones are not an option, however, Spectralink allows our communication to be conducted over the Wi-Fi.

RCC Villa Roza connects Televic with our LynX® Connect. Thanks to smartphones calls and alarms can be managed over Wi-Fi single channel.
